 19th August, 2010Welcome to the home of Lodestone - Border Morris Dancers based on the edge of Dartmoor in West Devon. Our repetoire and costume draws on the morris tradition of Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. This was largely revived in the 1970s/80s.
Throughout the summer we can be found dancing at local pubs, weekend fetes and festivals. Lodestone welcome new recruits, both musicians and dancers with emphasis on dance, music and humour. Join us in Horrabridge Village Hall, near Tavistock, West Devon for Winter Practice from October to April on Thursday nights between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. You may surprise yourself.
