 28th December, 2011Welcome to the home of Lodestone - Border Morris Dancers based on the edge of Dartmoor in West Devon. Our repetoire and costume draws on the morris tradition of Shropshire, Herefordshire and Worcestershire. This was largely revived in the 1970s/80s.
Throughout the summer we can be found dancing at local pubs, weekend fetes and festivals. Lodestone welcome new recruits, both musicians and dancers with emphasis on dance, music and humour. Join us at The Tavy Club, 2 King Street, Tavistock, West Devon, PL19 0DS (postcode for SATNAV) for Winter Practice from October to April on Thursday nights between 8 p.m. and 10 p.m. You may surprise yourself.
