has now started

Lodestone have now begun their busy and hectic Summer on tour, and will be appearing at village pubs throughout the season, and may well be appearing at a venue near you.

Lodestone perform at Sheep Day,

We danced two sets of dancers outside the Great Barn at Buckland Abbey at this annual fun event.
Our repetoire of dances seemed to be eagerly received by the vast numbers of tourists that had gathered to watch us dance.

Buckland Abbey Wassail
Saturday, 15th January, 2011
We gathered in the Great Barn to dance before a splendid audience at this event.
When we had performed some sets of dances, and before choosing a young Wassail Queen, we processed over to a rather muddy orchard to wassail three Apple Trees before sampling tasty "pork and apple" hotdogs and mulled cider.

Dancing and Mumming at Birthday Celebrations

We performed another successful performance of our Mummers Play and also danced at the 80th Birthday celebrations of my Father in the function room at the Plume of Feathers, Princetown and both were enjoyed by the many family members, friends and Relations that were at the momentous occasion.
